Avalanche City - Slowly over me
Stellvertretend für dieses atemberaubende Album. Das könnte sich ganz, ganz vorne einreihen bei mir. Mal wieder so eine Band, von der man jahrelang zufällig genau einen Song kannte ("Love love love" ), mit der man sich aber nie weiter beschäftigte. Wie großartig, dass ich es doch noch einmal getan habe.

An sich freut es mich ja, dass dir beides gefällt.  Andererseits sind das wohl keine Lieder, die die meisten Leute bei guter Laune hören würden ("...meine Playlist mit stilleren Liedern hören muss" ).

Danke House, ja irgendwie hänge ich in den Seilen, so ne Beziehung verarbeitet man ja leider nicht in ein paar Wochen

Ein guter Freund von mir behauptete einmal, man brauche ein Drittel der Dauer der Beziehung, um sie vollständig hinter sich zu lassen. Halte ich aber für völligen Quatsch, also mach dir nicht zu viele Sorgen.

@House: Und bei Sex and the City haben sie mal gesagt man bräuchte die Hälfte der Beziehung. Na gut, also die Beziehung ging 5,5 Jahre. Das ist ne lange Zeit, ich hoffe mal so lange dauert es nicht.

Das neue Mumford and Sons Album - nötige, aber nach dem ersten Hören doch extreme Veränderung. Klingt wie ein frühes Coldplay.

Mumford & Sons - Monster
Ich liiiebe das Album. Gefällt mir viiiiel besser als "Babel". Klar, es ist poppig, und es ist nicht mehr viel Folk übrig geblieben. Aber obwohl ich auch im Übrigen ja ein totaler Folk-Fan bin, reißt mich "Wilder Mind" restlos mit. Ich war schon ein bisschen schockiert, als ich manche Rezension las. Und wie Coldplay klingen sie, finde ich, (nach wie vor) so überhaupt gar nicht. 
Kritik üben muss ich allenfalls an den Texten, die mir tatsächlich schon mal tiefgründiger schienen. Aber "Hot Gates" hat es sofort zum Staffel-Schlussmontage-Song geschafft und "Snake Eyes" in altbewährter Tradition zum Schlusssong des folgenden Season-Openers. In den wenigen freien Minuten höre ich nichts anderes als dieses Album.

Ich muss zugeben, dass das Album nach mehrmaligem Hören deutlich besser wurde.
Im Moment warte ich ja auf das zweite Album von Of Monsters and Men, wo mich einfach jeder bisher veröffentlichte Song absolut überzeugt hat. Ich glaube fast, das wird mein Album des Jahres.
