Suche grade nach dem traurigsten Abschiedssong, den ich so habe, aus gegebenem Anlass. Aber bisher spricht gegen jeden ein bisschen was. Entweder ich hab ihn schon aus einer Serie, vornehmlich OTH, geklaut und assoziiere deshalb zu sehr die jeweilige Originalsequenz (etwa bei Ray LaMontagnes "Lesson Learned", bei Jeff Buckleys "Hallelujah" oder bei Susie Suhs "All I want" ). Oder er ist mir nicht traurig genug - hat zu viel Drums oder zu viel Folkiges (wie alles von Dark Dark Dark oder Of Monsters and Men). Noch in der engeren Auswahl sind ZAZ, weil auch durchaus das Französische passen würde, oder James Blunt, wobei da eigentlich alle Texte thematisch zu "eindeutig"/klischeemäßig/überzogen sind, siehe "Goodbye my Lover".

Es muss jetzt nicht unbedingt textlich so direkt auf das Thema hinweisen. Im Refrain und/oder im Titel auftauchend, ist es möglicherweise gar schnell zu viel des Guten. Bei deinem Vorschlag ist genau das zum Beispiel so ein bisschen der Fall - verstärkt noch dadurch, dass fast jede Zeile eine Variation von "Es ist vorbei" ist. xD Gefällt mir aber dennoch. Also schon mal danke.

Das hätte ich auch gesagt. In Buffy war das zumindest sehr traurig. Aber dann auch nur die Version aus Buffy nehmen http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eg-U9G_feeE
Man muss aber auch Real Life Szenen nicht künstlich überdramatisieren.
