Ginger in Chicago: Got any Lost scoopage to spill?
This week on Lost, Maggie Grace (Shannon) returns, Sun goes all nutty fisticuffs and...someone is going to die. Someone I personally love. Someone I personally am sad to see go! But I worry I might be in the minority. Regardless, how this person dies is perhaps the most disturbing death I have ever heard of. Let's just say I have one big monster of a phobia, and this death plays into that. Eeek! (And no, it is not "the monster." )
Jack in Laguna Niguel, California: Please tell me what's going to happen next on Lost! I want more Hurley action.
Well, it looks like you'll get more action on Hurley's...van. Producers are currently casting for a "Roger," a working-class janitor in his early forties who is bitter about his place in life but has higher aspirations. The notice says of the character, "He has troubled and complex relationship with his son; [he] finds himself caught up in a mysterious situation beyond his imaginings; [and the] actor must not be claustrophobic." Pretty sure this is the skeleton—"Roger Work Man"—from Hurley's episode. (Ha!) Flashback fun times! (I see a beer run in our future.)
GREAT PODCAST! (and it's Carlton's birthday)...
They are currently breaking episodes 21 and 22/23.
All shooting will be done in the next three weeks.
The box--Ben was putting it into terms Locke could understand. It's a metaphor. It would be silly for there to actually be a box, says Damon. This will become clearer the next time they pick up the storyline.
You'll see Locke again in the next couple weeks, but not revisit this story for a while.
Locke's attitude about the island will come back into play. The Others will not be encamped in their comfortable place for the entire season.
Rousseau has to overcome her issues before she can approach her daughter.
Expose-they're very excited about it. This episode may make people say they've Jumped the Shark. Nikki and Paulo's flashbacks in this ep. will satisfy people who wonder who they are and why they're here. A couple flashbacks take place in Australia before they got on the plane but most take place on the island.
Boone has a wig which is why hair continuity may not look accurate in the ep. They were not going to ask him to cut his hair for two days' work.
Carlton: "The Others are a lot badder than you think they are." By the end of the season you may not think that their act of hanging Charlie was out of character for them. This seems to imply/confirm that Ethan/The Others are in fact responsible for Charlie's hanging. (PJ note: So "hah" to all the people who said they weren't ).
We'll see the Dharma van again, it will have a flashback of sorts and see how it came to be in the jungle. We will also see another Volkswagon product on the island.
Alcatraz island was actually shown on Rousseau's map as early as season one when Sayid discovered it in Solitary. They knew about at least one other smaller island even then.
kurz:

*hrmpf*...

Was meint ihr?

- Sie meinte: "it's finally gettin' to be Lord of the Flies time" was ich so übersetze, dass es "Herr der Fliegen" ähnlich wird. Darum gehts:

Zitat:
A highly-placed insider has just set my hinder straight on the batting order for the final episodes of “Lost” this season.
The bad news? As reported by TV Guide’s Michael Ausiello, the season will indeed not end with a Benjamin Linus flashback two-parter.
The good news? We’ll be getting Ben’s flashbacks even sooner! He’ll be the focus of 3.20, the episode previously believed to be DeGroot-centric. (If you’re thinking Dharma masterminds Karen and Gerald DeGroot will still turn up in that episode, I’d guess you’re thinking right.)
The shocking news? After years of privately and publicly nagging the producers of “Lost” to cut back on the flashbacks, I can report that 3.19 is slated to be the first-ever flashback-free episode in the series’ history.
The absent flashbacks for that episode, says my source, “won't even be missed.”
“The episode,” he or she adds, “focuses on one of season one's ‘mysteries’ - if that's the right word.”
What I am assured is the true flashback order: 3.17 Desmond Hume
3.18 Jin & Sun Kwon
3.19 no flashbacks!
3.20 Benjamin Linus
3.21 Charlie Pace
3.22-23 Jack Shephard
EDIT:
Foiler-Time...
Zitat:
UPDATE!! Another reputable source told us late last night that 3.19 WILL contain flashbacks, and they'll be Locke flashbacks. So I called my original source (the one who said no flashbacks for 3.19), and that source said my latter source was right. The original source got confused because all of Locke's flashbacks are very RECENT flashbacks. All apparently take place on Dharma Island (or thereabouts) subsequent to Ben reintroducing Locke to his daddy (the last time we all saw Locke). So the real, true and now double-confirmed flashback order is:
3.17 Desmond Hume
3.18 Jin & Sun Kwon 3.19 John Locke
3.20 Benjamin Linus
3.21 Charlie Pace
3.22-23 Jack Shephard
